Serving families in every Florida county, by Zoom A practice of Turk Law Group, PLLC West Palm Beach (561) 556-5002
Attorney-Led Medicaid & Elder Care Planning, Statewide Florida

Medicaid, by design.
Not by panic.

When a parent needs nursing home care, families are handed a maze of rules, myths, and deadlines. We replace the maze with a plan: designed by an attorney, executed by Zoom, anywhere in Florida.

When the Call Comes

The hospital says Mom is being discharged to a nursing home. Friday.

That is how most families meet Medicaid: no warning, no roadmap, and a business office asking how the bill will be paid. The rules are federal, the application is state, the deadlines are real, and the myths (you must spend everything first, the state takes the house, it is too late to plan) cost families their savings.

This is legal work. It deserves a lawyer, not a form-filling service.

The Four Plans

Every family fits one of four situations. We designed a plan for each.

Flat fees, quoted per applicant. You will know your investment before we begin, and it will never change because your family asked good questions.

Plan No. 1Before the Crisis

Pre-Crisis Planning

For families who see long-term care on the horizon. We restructure assets and documents ahead of the five-year lookback so that a future application is a formality, not a fight. The least expensive plan, because time is on your side.

From $5,000 per applicant, flat fee
Plan No. 2In the Crisis

Crisis Navigation

Care is needed now and a social worker or facility is handling the application itself. We design the legal strategy behind it: asset protection, spousal protections, timing, and facility negotiations, so the application they file actually works.

$10,000 per applicant, flat fee
Plan No. 3Start to Finish

Full Medicaid Application & Navigation

No one is helping. We are. Strategy, restructuring, the application itself, communications with the nursing home and the state, and every step through approval. If a fair hearing becomes necessary, it is quoted separately.

From $15,000 per applicant, flat fee
Plan No. 4Other Doors

Alternative Programs

Not every elder needs a nursing home. We plan for at-home care, assisted living programs, and VA benefits for veterans and surviving spouses, often in combination, so care matches the life your parent actually wants.

Quoted at consultation per applicant, flat fee
How our flat fee works: the fee covers a defined set of Zoom meetings on one condition, that all family decision makers attend or agree to read the meeting notes. When everyone is in the room, families decide faster and pay less. Additional meetings needed because decision makers stayed on the sidelines are billed hourly. We say this up front because clarity is part of the design.
How It Works

One firm. Every Florida county. Zero waiting rooms.

Medicaid is state law, not county law. There is no reason your lawyer needs to be down the street, and every reason your children in Tampa, Naples, and New Jersey should be in the same meeting.

The whole family, one screen

Siblings join from anywhere. Decisions get made once, together, with the attorney present.

Designed agendas, written notes

Every meeting has a purpose and a written record, so no one relitigates last week.

Statewide, by design

From Pensacola to Key West, the plan, the fee, and the standard of care are the same.

An attorney, start to finish

Your matter is handled by a Florida lawyer, not routed to a processing center.

About Your Attorney

Planning is not paperwork. It is architecture.

Evan W. Turk, Esq. is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Turk Law Group, PLLC in West Palm Beach. Since 2008, his practice has centered on estate planning, elder law, and asset protection for Florida families, built on a career that began in financial services, where he learned that the best legal plan is one the family's finances can actually live with.

Medicaid By Design brings that philosophy to long-term care: fixed fees, family-wide meetings, and strategies designed before they are needed, statewide by Zoom.
